The Driveway Brand

The Driveway brand palette consists of four colors: Lake, Forest, Sand, and Sunset. These colors are most prominent in our illustrations and marketing materials, but they can also be spotted within our UI.

Each color has a range of tints and shades to provide designers with the flexibility and nuance required in certain cases—notably areas with dense UI or marketing-related experiences.

Lake 500 is our primary brand color, as seen in our logo. Within our web UI it's most often used to signal interactivity, as with buttons and text links.

Blue hues are commonly used to identify links on the web. Be cautious when deploying blue tints and shades, as you could run the risk of suggesting an item may be interactive when it isn't.

Secondary

Forest 500 is a supporting brand color. It's used, along with its tint and shades, predominantly for background fills.

Tertiary

Sand 500 is also a supporting color, used predominantly for background fills.

Sunset 500 is our quaternary brand color, used sparingly for accent elements.

Accessibility Considerations

Color entries that have two values refer to large text vs. small text.

Tints and shades of each may be used for background fills and, in some cases, text. When defining a new or novel color combination, especially text, it's massively important that this is done with accessibility in mind.
